Road’s Eye™ (“App,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use the App. By using Road’s Eye™, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Data Collection and Use
a. Location Data
Road’s Eye™ uses precise location data to accurately tag latitude and longitude in your recordings.
This data is processed locally on your device and used solely for display within the app and in metadata for saved recordings.
We do not link location data to your identity, nor do we transmit or store this data on our servers.
b. Advertising Data (Google AdMob)
We display ads using Google AdMob, a third-party advertising platform provided by Google.
Google may collect data such as device identifiers, ad performance metrics, and location (if permitted) to provide personalized ads and for tracking purposes.
Road’s Eye™ does not collect, access, or store any advertising data directly.
Any data used for advertising is collected by Google under their own privacy policy. You can review it here: Google’s Privacy Policy
If you would like to limit personalized ads, you can update your preferences in your device settings or opt out of ad tracking.
2. User-Controlled Content
All content created within the App—including videos, audio, GPS metadata, and settings—is stored only on your device.
You control whether and how this data is shared or deleted.
If you choose to backup or export recordings using third-party services (e.g., iCloud, Google Drive), their policies will govern the handling of that data.
3. Data Sharing and Sale
Road’s Eye™ does not collect or sell any personal data.
However, Google AdMob, as a third-party service, may collect and share data for advertising and tracking purposes.
Please review their terms and privacy practices for more details.
4. Children’s Privacy
Road’s Eye™ is not intended for use by those under the age of 18.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 18.
If a parent or guardian believes that their user under 18 has provided us with data, they may contact us to request deletion—though we do not store any user data ourselves.
Please look at our Terms of Service for more information.
